Congratulations to the newly elected Education Commission members:

Michellle Dawson, Kris Marcuccilli, Heidi Sheridan and Matt Wojitas.  The current Education Commission would like to thank the  individuals who gave up their time and showed interest and a passion for wanting to serve on this board.  We had 10 excellent candidates with a wide array of qualifications.  Also, thanks to the many parishioners who took the time to vote.  We had an astounding number of voters.

STM has a new principal!

Dear St. Thomas More Community,

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Ann Hawkinson as our new principal, effective July 1.  

Ms. Hawkinson brings over 25 years of diverse educational experience including roles as a catholic elementary school teacher, higher education project manager and catholic school administrator.

2013 Education Commission Candidates

Bob Brown ~  Parishioner of STM for 12 years.  Two children attend STM.  Sales manager experience, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.  “I have felt a need to get more involved with the STM School, and offer my time, experience and skills in a productive way.  It would be a privilege to serve the school on the Education Commission.  I feel I can contribute and be an asset to the commission thru my educational back ground and work experience, along with a strong work ethic and willingness to work together as a team.”

Education Commission Election Information - Download Proxy Ballot

The Education Commission of St. Thomas More School is holding an election to fill 4 board positions being vacated this year.  The election will take place after ALL Masses the weekend of April 27th.  If you are unable to attend Mass that weekend, proxy ballots will be available in the school office starting Monday, April 22nd.

Education Commission Important Information

The St. Thomas More Catholic School Education Commission will be holding an election to fill 3 open board positions due to expire at the end of the school year.  Please look for the information regarding this very important committee in the next edition of the More News as well as the church bulletin.  Applications are available in the Church office as well as the School office and are due no later than April 7th.  Elections will be held the last weekend in April.
